PUBLIC SAFETY
District 6 has the highest crime count in Dallas, with theft and drug offenses surpassing city averages. Motor vehicle theft, the fentanyl-driven drug crisis, and homelessness, bringing waste and encampments, are major concerns. I will support our police and first responders with the resources they need to combat these issues, and will fight to fully fund the police and fire pension.
FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY
Dallas is facing a $6.9 billion deficit, which is a liability for future taxpayers. I will fight to cut the wasteful spending of your hard earned taxpayer dollars, redirect funds from non-essential programs, and prioritize critical services like public safety and infrastructure to restore fiscal stability—focusing on common-sense, essential issues.
INFRASTRUCTURE
I am committed to improving District 6 by enhancing street cleaning, repairing potholes, and revitalizing aging buildings to save money. Together with private sector partnerships, we can create a thriving community for families and businesses, contributing to a better quality of life and economic growth.
